Jay Jacobsen Sr.

I started as a Deejay in 1976. My sister and a friend were entering Disco Dancing Contest yes John Travolta style. Her partner was a Deejay in a club Downtown. The contests were on Sundays so he asked if I could fill in while they were at the contest. I said absolutely. He taught me how to use all the equipment and the rest is history.

My son Jay Jr. while growing up was with me at a lot of the events I played. Most the events at the beginning were for family and friends so both my sons Jay and Jaron were with me a lot at the start. As the events moved to unknown parties there time with me grew very short. They did lose interest when they became old enough for Sports and other activities. when Jay became High School age that desire for music grew and he played Music for the yearly School Fashion Shows as well as becoming the best Dancer in the School as voted on by his fellow classmates. He has helped in the business ever since. He provides a unique style to entertaining to all the different venues.

Jaron Jacobsen

As with my older son Jaron was with me a lot in the begining as well. When he became High School Age he followed in his older brother's footsteps and played for all the Fashion shows. Low and behold he also was voted best Dancer by his fellow Classmates. He too has been a vital part of 3J's Mobil Music. He moved to Redmond Oregon  a few years ago but stayed in touch with a lot of his friends and he has played for a lot of their Weddings and events. He has built a nice client base in Redmond to and has a good following. We do travel and can play anywhere a client would like us to.
